Horizon Hobby - F4U Corsair UMX vs P-47BL UMX Upgraded (not a fair fight, I realize)
This is a quick maiden and review of my brand new Horizon Hobby / E-flite F4U Corsair UMX in poor conditions for a light UMX...
I was not very nice to this plane in my assessment, mostly because I want to try and get my UMX F-16 to fly well, and I can't seem to get Horizon Hobby to help at all, which is super frustrating! It's not that this plane is "horrible", it's more that I know these little models have so much more to offer, than the way they come stock. To help prove my point, I demonstrate my super upgraded P-47D UMX after the maiden, just to point out the differences, even though one could argue these planes are not in the same class, or price point.
This plane may fly a lot better in the calm, and might perform better with a larger / heavier battery. I'm not used to flying such a light aircraft, and that could be part of my problem (plus it was windy and gusty...NOT the Corsair's fault!)
