T8SG Review (one radio to controll them all?)

Do you have a bunch of cheap bind and fly models laying around with an equally large number of cheap toy-grade transmitters to go with them? Well the T8SG can make life a whole lot easier by allowing you to ditch all those nasty little incompatible radios -- and I even found it pretty usable with my XHover Element 5 miniquad.
This radio is also very convenient if you're back-packing and space is at a premium. So long as you're not expecting a Taranis or other brand-name radio, I don't think this transmitter will disappoint.
Pros:
- the ulitimate radio for "bind and fly" models.
- small, lightweight and convenient to carry around
- compatible with many different 2.4GHz RC systems
- up to 150mW output power
- uses a 2S lipo/LiFe battery (you supply)
- surprisingly capable for such a budget radio
Cons:
- sticks are only "okay" but not great
- build quality could be improved (eg: hot-snot on wires)
- programming requires a bit of experimentation
- I still haven't figured out the telemetry properly
Summary:
If you're flying foamies, small quads and other lightweight models then this transmitter is a pretty good buy. I probably wouldn't use it for *serious* miniquad racing or larger/heavier models however, until I've had time to better evaluate its long-term durability and performance.
