Vifly R130 FPV Racer Drone with Virhuck LS-800D FPV Goggles Review

Video Channel
Please help us to find bad videos. Broken or unappropriated video content?
The Vifly R130 is a smaller sized FPV racer that serves as oneof the best entry level racers. The RTF version comes ready to fly out of the box, with no modifications needed to its flight control software. The cheaper BNF versions come similarly equipped, but may require some adjustments for your particular transmitter. Find the VR130 here
Vifly quadcopters also come equipped with excellent FPV cameras. The Virhuck LS-800D FPV goggles may be one of the better budget goggles to fully experience the crispness and colors of the camera's transmitted video. It also has a built-in DVR that comes close to capturing what is seen through the goggles. Find the LS-800D here

- Small enough for freestyle flying in parks, yet large and punchy enough for racing.
- PNP available in Frsky, Flysky, and DSM2/X.

Cons
- RTF version comes equipped with a battery, but no battery is provided with the BNF versions. You'll need to provide your own with XT30 connector.
Virhuck LS-800D Goggles Pros
- 5.8Ghz 40 channel diversity antenna receiver with autoscan.
- Built-in DVR that produces pretty good image quality (better than my VR D2 Pro DVR).
- 5.8Ghz 40 channel diversity antenna receiver with autoscan.
- Built-in DVR that produces pretty good image quality (better than my VR D2 Pro DVR).
Upgrades over previous EV800 models include:
- Larger 854 x 480 pixel TFT screen provides extra clear widescreen viewing.
- DVR can now support higher capacity microSD cards up to 128GB.
- Larger 2000mah built-in battery.
- Micro USB charging port, can be charged with most phone charging cables and wall chargers. (EV-800 versions have proprietary pin charger. Better not lose it ;-)
- Can also access the DVR recorded videos and images via the micro USB charging port, such as to download or share via your computer or phone using OTG cable.
- Improved receiver module for faster diversity antenna switching with lower lag.
- Improved faster and more accurate channel scanner (it really is a pretty good scanner).
Cons
It is a good wide angled screen. IMO I personally like wide angled FPV views as it provides a more immersive experience. I feel that this is especially true due to the very wide angled lenses used on most of today's FPV cameras. However some FPV fliers are more accustomed to 4:3 aspect ratio screens, thus this may not be suitable for everyone.
