Soundprank has been wowing us with his distinctive piano-driven progressive works from the very beginning, with tracks such as "Captivated" and "The Far Side" destined to become Anjunadeep classics in the very near future. This latest EP showcases three exciting and brand-new tracks from the young Canadian producer.
First up is "The Time Machine"; packed with soothing, easy flowing soundscapes and poignant piano melodies that alternate and entwine with delicate synths, this is a delightful slow-burner to start things off.
"Beginnings" sees Soundprank injecting a little more tempo and energy, with a bristly, radiating synth line taking centre stage and then fading back to allow the splashes of piano to drift in before the two meld together seamlessly. A haunting and wistful piece, this is arguably one of Soundprank's most richly melodic efforts to date.
"Timespan" brings things to a close. Underpinned by a cavernous, heavy-duty groove and filled with delicate, sprightly touches of piano, this track has a bit more punch to lift it into mid-set territory.
