Thunder Tiger Bush Master First Running Video Stock
My first run with the Thunder Tiger Bush Master running on 4S LiPo. The car was all stock with the exception of a couple of pre-load spacers I used in the rear shocks to stop the buggy from bottoming out due to the extra load of the audio box and roll cage.
At first the buggy felt similar to other buggies I've tested because I was just trying it out on the small (and messy) jumps outside the actual BMX track. One thing I did notice was that the buggy was very well composed and seemed to land off jumps rather well. Steering and cornering was also something I noticed was pretty good, but overall, I didn't see a huge difference between the Bush Master and the other 3 buggies I own.
That was until I took the buggy inside the BMX track. Doing a few laps on the usual section where RC Race Wars is held, I immediately noticed that this buggy was something more. Cornering, jumps, landings and just overall attitude was sublime on the Bush Master! What a pleasure to drive. Predictable, composed and fun, the Bush Master blew me away in a matter of minutes. Then the icing on the cake - durability! This is only 1 of 3 videos I have shot so far and the buggy remains intact and ready for action. NOTHING has broken on this buggy after 3 punishing rounds of bashing.
However, my biggest criticisms so far are;
1. Not able to run 6S out of the box
2. Needs more gearing
3. Price
4. Sound box - buggy is too good for it. It's a gimmick that no one asked for and it belongs on a cheaper RC where performance doesn't outshine it.
Aside from that, the Bush Master is proving to be one of the best RTR buggies, and RC vehicles in general, that I have tested. Tires, shocks, electrics, chassis, drivetrain, handling and durability makes for almost a perfect score. The only thing holding it back is the value.
Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed the video. :)
