HP Chromebox week continues! In this video I take apart the HP Chromebox to see what's inside. We take a look at the potential for replacing RAM and the internal SSD hard drive.
The only real difference here between the Asus Chromebox and the HP version is that the Asus has two sockets for RAM and the HP only one. It is possible to install more memory and have ChromeOS or another operating system take advantage of it.
I was hoping to get the OpenELEC dual boot thing working tonight but I've hit a snag - the device reports that it's booting from the hard drive and locks up. If anyone has advice I'd appreciate any feedback you can provide!
