Click to Subscribe! ► - The chassis plate is the first thing that needs some work. First mounted to it, is the suspension hangers. Really neat how they are drop in pieces. In this video I assemble the links and start on the cantilever suspension. It takes a lot of repetitive work to build an RC - but this style will give you intimate knowledge about your rig - and you will better be able to troubleshoot any future problems. This is one of the advantages to building a kit, rather then buying an "RTR, or Ready To Run" version.
In these style of videos, I know there are all skill types of hobbyists watching. Though I respect the senior hobbyists in the film, I also try to cater to the new hobbyists that watch our show. I often try to insert helpful tips or tricks I have learned over my years of enjoying this hobby. If there is any way I can get more folks to try this hobby, then I'm willing to give it a try!
