With the launch Messi 15.1 inspired by his national team’s home colours of the sky blue and white, the all new edition relates back to Messi’s footballing days at Newell’s Old Boys. With his hometown club headlining a red and black home strip, the new Messi edition dons the red and black colours throughout the upper and sole while additional lime green trim headlines the branding and studs tips.
The headline design feature is the the new enlarged Messi logo on the forefoot which is coloured lime green and red. A red and black stripe pattern covers the heel, tongue and ankle regions of the boot while a slick black wraps the forefoot for a super modern design.
The adidas and Messi logos on the heel are green while the MessiFRAME in the midfoot uses a black and red gradient design. All in all the design is certainly a never seen before plaque by adidas.
Again the phrase “Messi 15.1, Built to Win” is printed on the sockliner of the boot while the studs tips are lime green.
