ZOHD Nano Talon Review - Pt.1
Here's the first part of my review for this plane. It's the ZOHD Nano Talon, ZOHD is a division of Sonic Modell. (Not to be confused with XUAV that makes the Mini Talon, and I think also the full size Talon airframes) It's a neat little package that assembles faster than any other model I've bought... lol In this first video, we take a look at the plane, and some of the features of the stock setup once I installed a radio receiver. In the next video I will fly it and get some line of sight footage from the ground, and possibly FPV also depending on how soon I get to fly it. I'll fly it as soon as the weather allows, if I have enough time before then I'll install a basic FPV setup too. Stay tuned!

I recommend this receiver to go with them. I use an older Racewood type they used to sell, but these are supposed to be at least as good with the same Comtech tuners in them. Apparently Racewood is no longer in business, so here's what replaced them:
I use this 8dbi Patch Antenna, it has been my go-to antenna for a long time now, for years! lol I've been out more then 10 miles using one of these and the 800mW vtx listed above:
On the transmitter side, the stock dipoles that come with them work pretty good together with that patch, but if you want slightly better performance and less weight/drag, consider these:
