The Syma x8 series quadcopters are travel friendly with easy removable props, prop guards and landing legs in which they clip on and off and once attached, it is latched on very securely with innovative latch design.
This model is a wifi fpv unit in that a smart phone app is used for first person real time view of the onboard camera that also has a micro sd card recording capabilities as well as the phone app recording directly to the camera roll in the smart phone itself.
Although the maximum distance is limited with the remote it comes with, it will bind with any x8 transmitter of previous release and will go the distance up to 400 meters plus.
The camera takes decent photos and videos but this unit is powerful enough to carry a GoPro and a plastic gimbal like the walkera g2d gimbal for higher quality steady videos.
Issues like tipping over when landing like that of the x8sc model and the irratic behavior of the x8pro model is not an issue with this model and all of the functions work flawlessly.
