A truly decadent dessert! This delicious salted caramel Frozen Yogurt is to die for. Satiate your sweet cravings by making it yourself.
SALTED CARAMEL FROZEN YOGURT
Ingredients
A pinch sea salt
½ cup castor sugar
1 cup hung yogurt
1 tablespoon butter
¼ cup double cream
Chopped walnuts for topping
Biscuit crumbs for topping
Method
1. Heat sugar in a non-stick pan. Add 1-2 tablespoons water, mix and cook till it caramelizes. Add butter and mix well. Remove from heat and add cream and whisk well.
2. Place back on heat and whisk again for 30 seconds. Add sea salt and whisk again. Remove from heat and cool. Transfer the caramel sauce in a bowl.
3. Take hung yogurt in a bowl. Add some caramel sauce and mix well. Transfer in an air tight container and freeze for 4-6 hours.
4. Drizzle some caramel sauce over and serve chilled garnished with biscuit crumbs and walnuts.
Preparation Time: 6-7 hours
Cooking Time:8-10 minutes
