This is a nice flying micro hexacopter with WiFi FPV ability. Find it here
Available for Android apps only. GTeng app (Android)
Pros
- Very good flying hexacopter
- Includes effective altitude hold, even when doing flips as it quickly adjusts back to its original altitude after the flip.
- includes camera and WiFi FPV transmitter. Camera is set level with the horizon so that you're not stuck with looking at the ground like some other drones do.
- includes somewhat large (for a micro drone) 3.7V 500mah battery.
- Headless mode and one key return.
Cons
- Flyaway potential! If you lose recepetion of the transmitter, motors will continue running at last setting. Additionally, you can not regain the transmitter once transmission is lost. Keep this hexacopter close when flying.
- FPV video verly laggy (delayed with frozen frames). OK for viewing in flight view, but not good for FPV flying.
- Although I state that this is available with iTunes in the video, I could not find its app when I later looked for its link. This may not be compatable with iOS products.
- Can not record HD video to memory card (card slot is inoperative). Can only record low resolution 480p video (although directly to your phone) via the WiFi stream.
- Hexacopters are very hard to maintain orientation. This one is particulary difficult as all the arms and propellers are the same color. Recommend "coloring" the front two arms using any lightweight means to help with orientation. I used colored tape.
