The self-confessed “odd couple” of Glaswegian dance music, Illyus & Barrientos are musicians with very contrasting backgrounds but a future that’s looking increasingly well synthesised. After a slew of releases on Suara, Toolroom and Glasgow Underground, the pair now joins the ranks of DFTD with summer stomper ‘Takin’ Over’.
