Criss-Cross Applesauce! I mean Criss-Cross Pigtails! LOL If you're a busy Millennial Mom like me you are always looking for easy, tight hairstyles that will work on your toddlers! This hairstyle is perfect for the mornings you want your daughters to look amazing, but don't want to spend an hour doing their hairstyle.
In this #CGHCrissCrossPigtails video we take dutch braids and mix them with two pigtails to create an adorable twist to an otherwise boring braided hairstyle.
This hairstyle is certainly a perfect style for toddlers, but it would also work well as a teen style for girls running off to an athletic class and in need of an athletic hairstyle. It would also work well for a gym hairstyle, or even dance hairstyle or gymnastics hairstyle. This is an all around amazing hairstyle!
We begin by parting the hair in the middle of the head. Then dividing the hairstyle into four section. Dutch braid the top two sections closest to the front of the face and then using a regular braid cross it over in the back to the opposite side of head. Then secure all the hair together creating an X pattern into the two pigtails.
Simply add a few straightener curls to the ends of the pigtails for a little added cuteness and you are ready to go!
