Boondi tempered with mild spices and cooked till soft.
BOONDI KI SABZI
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted boondi
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Pinch of asafoetida
2 spring onions with greens, chopped
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
Method
1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté for 30 seconds. Add asafoetida and spring onions, mix and sauté for a minute.
2. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, boondi
and salt and mix well. Add ¼ cup water and chopped coriander,
mix, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
3. Serve hot.
Preparation Time: 2-3 minutes
Cooking Time: 5-7 minutes
