Hobby King PitBull First Running video stock on 2S
My first run with the PitBull 1/18 scale buggy from Hobby King on the stock 2S battery. I decided not to tune the suspension on this run and just see what it was like to drive box-stock. It wasn't bad, but the car was all over the place due to inconsistent steering - one minute it's going straight, the next it's veered off into the unknown. I know the lumpy, uneven terrain didn't help, but I also noticed this inconsistent steering on tarmac. It seemed the smallest bump, rock or uneven surface would redirect the buggy in a random direction. Conclusion - servo saver was way too loose. I could manually turn the wheels at full lock without the servo moving at all. This is a problem and one I must fix before the 3S run. That and the suspension needs tweaking.
