4wd Feiyue FY07 Desert Eagle 1/12 Scale RC Rock Racer - Unboxing, Speed Test & Bashing

Ok! So Gearbest just sent me the new FY07 Desert Eagle to review for you guys.Get some popcorn, because we do it all for you in this video: Unboxing, Speed Test, Bashing, and First Impression. I could go either way about the last Feiyue they sent - the FY-10 - mainly because the transmitter range was so bad on the one I received. This experience was the exact opposite.
From the "get-go" I really enjoyed driving this RC. It's definitely still not the quality of my name brand 1/10 scale vehicles, but it's definitely a much better build than RCs you'll pick up at a big box store. I like that it has metal diffs and a brushless motor. The tires felt good to me, but I'd like to upgrade the shocks and driveshafts. I was a little bummed when I lost the screw for the driveshaft, but that turned out to be an easy enough fix using a screw I had already sitting loose on the workbench. It doesn't really affect my review because that happens all the time with RTR RCs.
Overall, the top speed didn't bother me. It felt good for this size car. I'll probably see if it can handle 3S and what that looks like. So far, I'm pleased with this RC and really like the looks of it.
