FIVE NEW POKEMON REVEALED FOR X AND Y (Escapist News Now)
The new Pokemon are Swirlix, Malamar, Inkay, Pangoro, and Spritzee. The last one Spritzee is a new Fairy Type that can only be caught in Pokemon Y and emits a fragrance that can enchant other Pokemon. It can also learn an Aromatheraphy move which removes status afflicitions from allied Pokemon.
Swirlix can only be caught in Pokemon X and drains HP from enemy Pokemon and can also make sure allied Pokemon don't fall asleep during battles.
Pangoro is a fighting and dark type that evolves from Pancham, he's got a Hammer Arm attack and chews on a leaf that predicts opponent's moves. Inkay is a dark and psychic pokemon that drains the will to fight from other Pokemon, and evolves into Malamar. The evolved Pokemon has some of the strongest hypnotic powers of any Pokemon and can make its opponents bend to its will.
But the Pokemon aren't alone! They'll cross paths with Team Flare, a new villain group and we also get a new Professor, Augustine Sycamore.There will also be O-Powers which can be shared among players with benefits like increased experience and the ability to catch wild Pokemon easier.
X and Y will also have a feature called Wonder Trade that allows players to instantly trade one of their Pokemon for a random Pokemon offered on the market by other players.
