LEGO Star Wars: Force Awakens continues the legacy of Tt Games previous LEGO Star Wars games. Force Awakens is condense into a tight LEGO package, full of fun and epicness. The story follows the original movie closely, albeit with its LEGO humor. Force Awakens is marked improvement over previous iterations. Gameplay now includes third person shootouts, much like you would find in Gears of War. There is also different vehicles you can commandeer. The aerial dogfights are a highlight, as they closely resemble what you would find in Rogue Squadron or even Star Fox. The controls are nowhere near as in depth as those two games, but the spirit and fun is there.
This game also includes a lot of side missions that you can unlock.by collecting yellow bricks as with previous LEGO games. These are the best part of the game, since they all include untold stories that take place between "Return of the Jedi" and "Force Awakens." They're full missions with cutscenes and everything and include some of our favorite characters: Han Solo, Chewie, Kylo Ren and more.
