RunCam Micro Swift 2, TX25 25mW vTX

RunCam was nice enough to send me the new Micro Swift 2 to check out, as well as their tiny vTX that piggypacks onto the back of the camera, the TX25. I decided to whip up a little "backpack" of sorts, with plans to use it on small fun planes that I'll fly around the yard just for fun. In this video, I talked about the camera a little, then how I set up the little "backpack" using a small voltage regulator, then took a look as the OSD. The OSD in this cam has quite a few nice changes from the past in-camera OSDs that I've shown. I think this will make for a fun little setup that will fly on just about anything!

I recommend this receiver to go with them. I use an older Racewood type they used to sell, but these are supposed to be at least as good with the same Comtech tuners in them. Apparently Racewood is no longer in business, so here's what replaced them:
I use this 8dbi Patch Antenna, it has been my go-to antenna for a long time now, for years! lol I've been out more then 10 miles using one of these and the 800mW vtx listed above:
On the transmitter side, the stock dipoles that come with them work pretty good together with that patch, but if you want slightly better performance and less weight/drag, consider these:
