Ingredients garlic sauce:
Creme fraise - 200 gram
Mayoniase - 200 gram (I like the light version better)
Garlic - 1 clove
Parsley fine chopped - 2 tablespoons
Lemon juice - halve a lemon
sugar - 1 teaspoon
Ingredients shawarma spicemix
Coriander leaves - 2 teaspoon
Salt - 2 teaspoon
Paprika - 2 teaspoon
Onion - 2 teaspoon
Garlic - 2 teaspoon
Cayenne - 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
Cumin - 2 teaspoon
Rest of the ingredients:
Chicken thighs - 2 kilogram
Libanees flat bread - 8 pieces
Field slaw - 1 bag
2 large onions
How To:
24h00m - Mix the ingredients for the garlic sauce. Do this preferably a day ahead of time. It will taste much better. Keep it in the fridge until you use it
01h00m - Start your barbecue to grill at a high temperature and place the spit off set to the coals
00h40m - Butterfly the chicken thighs
00h30m - Mix the spice mix and sprinkle it on the chicken thighs
00h25m - Skewer the chicken thighs with half onions at the back and the front on the skewer
00h15m - Start the rotisserie and grill the chicken until it is crispy on the outside en fully cooked on the inside.
00h00m -Slice a bit of the outside of the shawarma each time it is cooked and place it in a piece of flat bread with garlic and slaw. Enjoy!!
