Sheer Khurma recipe or sheer korma is a dessert made with vermicelli/seviyan saute'd in ghee and then added to the thickened milk with dates .
ingredients:
2 litre full fat milk
20-25 almonds chopped
20-25 pistachio chopped
20- 25 cashew
10-12 dates
2 tbsp charoli seeds
120 g sugar
2 tbsp pure ghee
1/2 tbsp cardamom powder
50 g sevaiya( you can take upto 100 g )
Method:
IN a pan add milk , let it to come boil.
Heat some ghee in a pan,add dates once they fry take them out.
Add blanched and peeled dry fruits once they fry take them out.
In same pan add sevaiya roast them till they become golden.\
Add sevaiya dry fruits and dates in boiled milk, cook it on medium flame for about 20-25 min.
Cook it till it reduces 1/3 of its original quantity.
Add sugar and cook for 5-7 min.
Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Turn off the flame and let it cool on normal temperature.
Once it cool keep it in refrigerator.
Garnish it with dry fruits.
serve chilled.
