We've poked and prodded it in unboxings and hands-ons, compared it to the LG Optimus G and Galaxy Note II, and we've given it the full review treatment. Since the Droid DNA's unveiling in New York City last week, we've been all over every inch of the new 1080p Android superphone from HTC and Verizon. From benchmarks to speed tests to camera samples taken out on the cold streets of Boston, it's all been done. So you can forgive Michael Fisher for being so tired he looks like a corpse in this latest video. So tired he now apparently refers to himself in the third person.
But today, on the eve of the Droid DNA's transfer to Pocketnow's Pennsylvania offices to spend some time under the pixel-perfect eyeball of Brandon Miniman, there's one more comparison to be done. A showdown between the new 5-inch HTC wonder and the established veteran of the Android space, between soft-touch paint and hyperglaze coating, between quad-core and dual-core. Today, the HTC Droid DNA faces our Verizon Wireless-branded Samsung Galaxy S III for 7+ minutes of hot head-to-head action.
We'd tell you more, but this is no time for spoilers. Hit "play" up above and get your pencils, styli, or S Pens ready to jot down some benchmark results. It's the final countdown. Hit it.
