Asteroid 2018 CC - Orbit Animation Shows Close Earth Fly-By

2018 CC will fly by Earth on Feb. 6, 2018, at 12:58 p.m. EST (1958 GMT), with a closest approach of about half the distance between Earth and the moon. It is estimated to be 9 to 28 meters (30 to 91 feet), according to the Minor Planet Center. -- It's the first of 2 space rocks to fly between Earth and Moon this week:
