A fly-through of Cas A based on the 3-D representation constructed from Chandra and Spitzer data. As Tracey DeLaney, its creator noted, "This is not an artists rendering. The data is in here." However, it does begin with an artists rendition of the neutron star leftover from the Cassiopeia supernova explosion about 300 years ago.Next, new features unseen in traditional 2-D data sets are visible, including details of how the parent star exploded.
