Have you ever had apple butter? It’s like…one of the best spreads in the world. It’s basically highly concentrated and spiced applesauce, but it’s cooked down so much that it’s really thick and you can spread it on whatever your precious little heart desires.
This recipe makes a small batch and I LOVE it because usually after one jar I’ve had my apple butter fix for the season. You can spread it on rolls, toast, bagels, muffins…you name it!
