How to Make Delicious Probiotic Fermented Kimchi
Better Done Yourself brings you kimchi, the delicious fermented Korean cabbage and vegetable dish. Make it with or without fish sauce. Make it as hot as you want. I've got the whole procedure right here. Watch this video to learn to make your own kimchi!
Ingredients
1 large Napa cabbage (about 6 pounds)
½ cup salt
1 Tbsp sweet rice powder
½ cup water
1/2 cup Korean red chile powder (coarse gochugaru)
1/4 cup fish sauce
1 knob of fresh ginger
1 daikon radish
1 yellow onion, peeled
3/4 cup garlic
2 bunches green onions
6 chopped carrots
