BIOSHOCK INFINITE DLC "BURIAL AT SEA" REVEALED (Escapist News Now)
2K Games has announced the expansions for their critically acclaimed first person shooter Bioshock Infinite.
The first piece of DLC that we'll see is out now nd is called Clash in the Clouds. Seen here, the gameplay is a challenge mode in what appears to be a combat arena of sorts. You'll complete challenges to unlock new Voxophones and Kinetoscopes.
You can try your hand at it for $5 bucks for PC, 360 and PS3 today or it's included in the Season Pass.
Coming out next is a two-part DLC called Burial at Sea. It will take players back to the underwater city of bathyspheres for an adventure in Rapture. The 2 episodes will feature Booker and Elizabeth in the city built by Ryan Industries, featured in the original Bioshock.
The time period is set in the 1950s, a few decades after Infinite and before the ultimate fall of Rapture. 2K says, "Gameplay has been modified to give the player an original BioShock combat experience that merges the best parts of BioShock and BioShock Infinite."
No word on when Burial at Sea will be available but according to Polygon, Ken Levine said you'll get to play as Elizabeth in Episode 2. This is also included in the Season Pass which you can get for $20 bucks or you can purchase it individually for $15. But the pass also includes some bonus weapon upgrades and infusions,
