Today I upgraded my Axial SCX10 Jeep Rubicon RTR links with the Axial RT 12.3” (313mm) aluminum link set - AX30550. The stock plastic rear links start to buckle a couple weeks ago and once they start, it happens all the time. When the links buckle the axle and wheels move forward and the vehicle can start to hop instead of crawl over objects.
The aluminum Axial link set is quality, but as the video will explain, the directions leave a lot to be desired. The diagrams in the directions and the part lists are good, but it doesn't do a good job breaking down the different options. Because they aren't well laid out, it took much longer than it needed to find the right steps to use for my Jeep (they should tell what directions you need for their models). After trial and error, I was able to get them installed and they look great and are really stiff compared to the plastic links.
