Recipe
Chuck eye Steaks - 2 steaks
Onion - 1
Garlic cloves - 5
Ginger - 1 thumb size
Rawit peppers - 2 pcs
Beef broth - 500 ml
Soy sauce - 1 tbs
Fish sauce - 1/2 tbs
Ginger syrup - 1 tbsp
5 spice powder - tsp
spring oinons - handfull
Shitake mushrooms - 5
How To
- Start up your barbecue and grill the steak direct over the coals. When the caramelized take them off and put them aside while you set your grill up to cook at a low heat. (110 Celsius or 225 Fahrenheit
- While the grill is cooling down use some of that heat to sweat the fine chopped onions, garlic an ginger.
- Add the rest of the ingredients except for the spring onion and the mushrooms.
- Let the stew simmer for 4 to 5 hours
- Add the sping onions and shitake mushrooms and take the pan of the grill.
- Plate up the stew when the meat is fall apart tender and enjoy!
