Keeping the soft premium leather forefoot, the football boot has otherwise been updated with a modern last for a better, more streamlined fit, an X-TEX heel for a secure, locked in fit and the Sprintframe soleplate with conical studs for maximum comfort and maneuverability. The biggest change though is the Techfit tongue, a woven neoprene material making up the Compression Fit Tongue, which is supposed to give you a smoother, more free transition from boot to foot, but also to help the Copa17.1 lock your foot in better.
