Collaborative robotics, the fourth industrial revolution | Mohammad SAFEEA | TEDxAveiro

Mohammad SAFEEA from Syria, he got his bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering from Damascus University with honors, then he moved to Portugal where he got his Master’s degree in the same field. Now Mohammad is pursuing a PHD in robotics at the University of Coimbra Portugal and the University of ENSAM in Lille France. Mohammad is also a researcher, his main research topics are about robot dynamics, control and the issue of safety for collaborative robots which are designed for a direct and physical interaction with humans. During his career he developed several software solutions for control and for interfacing with sensors. Currently he is working in a European project COLROBOT where he is developing a safety system for avoiding collisions between robots and human coworkers. Mohammad had a passion for robots since he was a kid, his dream is to see robots walking around us, collaborating with us, helping us in our daily lives.
