FREE TITANFALL IN XBOX ONE BUNDLE (Escapist News Now)
Microsoft announced that gamers in North America can purchase a new Xbox One bundled with a copy of Titanfall for $499.
You'll get everything that comes boxed with the Xbox including a wireless controller, the chat headset, 1 month of Xbox Live Gold, and a digital code for the game. Additionally if you live in the UK, the bundle is discounted off the original price and you can get a discounted Xbox One without purchasing the bundle, indicating the first region only price reduction for the new console.
If you got into the Titanfall beta you were one of 2 million unique players that tested out that game. Servers for both Xbox and PC will be run by Microsoft, so hopefully we won't see any Sim City or Battlefield 4 fiasco's but it appears the beta helped iron out some of those potentials kinks.
Speaking to Polygon, Engineer Jon Shiring said, "People need to understand that when you write a whole bunch of new code, there's bugs in it. We have to find those bugs. That was the goal of the beta. We know it's not going to work right. We don't want to find out on launch days. Let's find out now. We found probably 10 real thing that we worked on and fixed. That's 10 things we don't have to find on launch day."
