At HTC's One announcement event this morning, we got a little time to go hands-on with the company's latest Android flagship, forming some first impressions of this eagerly-awaited smartphone.
Check out the solid aluminum construction, tapering-down to only four millimeters wide on the edges. While it gets thicker in the middle, it's still an incredibly sleek design.
The One introduces HTC's BlinkFeed, its new software for keeping up with news and entertainment, offering tons of opportunity for customization. The new Sense really shows off the minimalist design we saw in early leaks.
You may be worried about the lack of a multitask button, but HTC's software really seems to handle the absence quite gracefully.
Camera performance is paramount for the HTC One, and beyond the new Ultrapixel sensor, there's some fantastic-looking software including the company's new Zoe system. Suffice it to say, we're pretty impressed. Check out our full first impressions
