The assembly kits featured in this video are The Grasshopper Candy Green Ltd. Edition 2013 (#84331) and The Hornet Black Metallic Ltd. Edition 2014 (#84383).
These are limited editions of the re-released kits, The Grasshopper 2005 (#58346) and The Hornet 2004 (#58336). Apart from the bodies and the black wheels of the Hornet the limited editions are identical to the re-releases from 2004/2005. Both the original Grasshopper (#58043) and the original Hornet (#58045) date back to 1984.
In short the differences between the two models are:
- The bodies (H features a polycarbonate/lexan body mounted with body clips while GH features an ABS Body mounted with screws)
- The rear wheel tires (H features Spikes while GH features Paddles)
- The Rear Damping and suspension (H features Oil Filled Dampers in the rear while GH features Friction Springs in the rear. H's rear axle is flexible while GH's is fixed)
- The motor included (The Hornet features a 540 Type and the GH a smaller 380 Type)
- The included ESC's may differ.
