A quick and dirty, hands-on review of the Panasonic Lumix LX5 and its video/photo capabilities.
As with the Nikon Coolpix P7000 and other point and shoot CCD cameras, the LX5 suffers from "blooming" when shooting video in bright (sunlight, spotlight, fire light) settings, so paying attention to your aperture settings is an important step in getting the look you want.
Keeping the CCD sensor limitations in mind, the LX5 offers exceptional 720p video with full manual controls, all in a small point and shoot camera package: nice!
