Property Guardianship has become a popular way to live cheaply in London. It allows people to rent buildings that are abandoned and about to be developed. These buildings are often warehouses or commercial spaces, and some even come with photography studios and music studios.
Property Guardian Protection is one of the companies renting out these spaces. The company installs kitchens, toilets, and fire alarms in each building. Reception rooms and Wi-Fi are also installed and bills are all included in the agreement.
Guardians sign a license agreement rather than a tenancy, which has a 28-day notice period. When the building is eventually developed the guardians have to move. Guardians are given priority on new spaces when this happens.
