Former Obama Advisor David Plouffe on His Uber Job

Senior Advisor and board member David Plouffe tells Lora Kolodny that Uber wants to be smartly regulated, as it is in California and South Florida. He says legacy taxi regulation don’t work for drivers. Plouffe argues that Uber’s platform of background checks and GPS tracking makes Uber safe. He says Silicon Valley, New York and DC need to pay more attention to the rest of the country.
