In addition to the Optimus G, LG is also showing the Optimus L9 at IFA in Berlin: a dual-core 1GHz phone with a 4.7″ IPS display, 1GB of RAM, and handsome symmetrical design with an elongated home button. Reminding us that it's a budget device, the L9 can take photos at just 5MP. It'll ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and will include new software to allow the user to customize the on-screen keyboard to optimize for better one-handed usability (we're very interested to see how this works). It'll also come with a piece of software (perhaps replicating what can already be found on Google Play) that can use OCR to translate text into your own native language. No word on pricing or availability just yet.
