AFT Records enter into their 8th Annual club Takeover in Amsterdam this Summer. 8 years of travelling and performing as a unit, 8 years of flying the flag for Drum and Bass and countless priceless times and memories with the Family Tree. Listen to Carasel’s lyrics on the Octo Pi produced ‘Amsterdam’ for a better explanation of what it means to him in particular.
To celebrate this landmark we really wanted to produce an E.P to mark the occasion and let every producer from the roster deliver a track giving their own unique take on their own personal experiences of this incredible city.
N3gus & Platinum step up first with ‘Truffle Shuffle’ an infectious Goonies sampling vibe with a nod to some of Amsterdam’s most loved Hallucinogens. Khemikal’s ‘Winston Kingdom’ is a nod to the venue that AFT takeover every summer. Multi-cultural, intimate and with a banging sound system he has done incredibly well to capture that vibe on ‘Welcome to the Kingdom’
