I've saved the best for last. This magic ingredient is store-bought but has flavorful heat: It's Sriracha sauce! Have you tried it? It's a spicy chili sauce that usually comes in a squeeze bottle with a red rooster on the front. It's thick -- ketchuplike in consistency -- and oh so good. How do you make Sriracha even better? Combine it with honey (that's it, really!). You'll get a thick, sweet-spicy glaze that takes grilled shrimp to another level. Don't like shrimp? Try the glaze on beef, pork, chicken -- even salmon or tofu. There's really nothing this simple glaze doesn't transform.
Sarah's Tip of the Day
Tune in to the video, and I'll show you a better way to skewer -- it makes cooking and prepping so much easier and even ensures that the shrimp cook evenly. I'll also tell you when to put the glaze on so it doesn't burn. Man, am I the only one feeling hungry?
