Lisa Gade reviews the 13.3” Lenovo Yoga 720, an Intel 7th generation Kaby Lake convertible Ultrabook with 360 degree hinges and Wacom AES active pen support (pen not included in the box). The aluminum clad 2.9 lb. / 1.3kg Yoga 720 is a more affordable counterpart to the Yoga 910, and at $849 starting price, it’s a bit less expensive than the competing HP Spectre x360 13”. The laptop is most commonly available with a 1920 x 1080 IPS gloss touch screen, but Lenovo does have a 4K display option. It’s available with Core i5 and i7 CPUs, 8 or 16GB RAM and fast PCIe NVMe SSDs. It has one Thunderbolt 3 port (not 2, sorry!), a USB A port and headphone jack. The optional $60 Lenovo Active Pen 2 supports the 4,096 pressure levels offered by the Yoga 720 series.
