Taranis X9D is a great transmitter but it is $230 US dollars.
The new QX7 is just as good as the X9D minus couple of switches and is priced at just $130 and for someone who is looking to get into the Frsky ecosystem, it is an excellent all around transmitter for it is equipped with the same internal module as the x9d as well as the external module bay.
It is a totally new design with sharp angles instead of the rounded look but once in the hands, it just feels perfect.
With new and exciting quadcopters coming out in BNF and ARF versions without a transmitter, it is necessary to choose a transmitter that can be used on most of these new quadcopters and Frsky is among the leading receiver options available.
This video goes over the unboxing of the product and the initial setup of the gimbal for mode 2 for this tx is shipped with both gimbals in neutral mode and need to disable the spring on the throttle stick.
