Murgh Musallam is a popular chicken dish in pakistan and in India, it means ‘whole chicken’, so it stands to reason that the recipe calls for a whole chicken to be marinade in a variety of spices and then cooked.
Legend has it that the dish was popular in royal courts during the Mughal era and was rumoured to be Mohhamed Bin Tughluq’s favourite dish.

Yogurt ½ cup دہی ½ کپ
Ginger garlic 1 tbsp ادرک لہسن 1 ٹیبل سپون
Crushed green chillies 1 tbsp پیسی ہوئی ہری مرچیں 1 ٹیبل سپون
Crushed brown onions 4 tbsp براؤن پسے پیاز 4 ٹیبل سپون
Poppy Seeds (Khus Khus) 1 tbsp خشخاش 1 ٹیبل سپون
Almond powder 1 tbsp بادام کا پاؤڈر 1 ٹیبل سپون
Red chilli powder 1 tsp سُرخ مرچ پائوڈر 1 ٹی سپون
Roasted chopped coriander & cumin 1 tbsp بُھنا کٹا دھنیا اور زیرہ 1 ٹیبل سپون
Allspice Garam masala powder 1 tsp گرم مصالحہ پائوڈر 1 ٹی سپون
Green cardamom powder ½ tsp سبز الائچی پائوڈر ½ ٹی سپون
Mace and nutmeg powder ¼ tsp جائفل جاوتری کا پائوڈر ¼ ٹی سپون
Fresh lemon juice 3 tbsp فریش لمین جوس 3 ٹیبل سپون
Chaat masala powder 1 tsp چاٹ مصالحہ پائوڈر 1 ٹی سپون
Orange food color 1 pinch اورنج فوڈ کلر 1 چٹکی
Salt as required نمک حسب ذائقہ
Crushed coconut 1 tbsp پسا ہوا ناریل 1 ٹیبل سپون
Kewra water 1 tbsp کیوڑہ واٹر 1 ٹیبل سپون
Oil ¼ cup تیل ¼ کپ
