Excelvan X218S FPV Racing Drone (SmartAudio!)
The Excelvan X218S is a starter FPV freestyle/racing drone. Having put 15 flights on this mode prior to uploading the review -- I am happy with how it flies. There are no major surprises in this build. Everything has been put together and specc'd correctly.
Some parts aren't "brand name", like the camera, or the "NLOLLA" Omnibus F4 flight controller. But I can't complain: they work fine. The receiver is a genuine FrSky XM+ which is nice too, since I dislike fake receivers. The SmartAudio feature in the EWRF e7092TM3 is a huge plus.
The overall flight performance was great, with more graceful flight and throttle management you can achieve 3m30s of flight time; and extremely aggressive flight style will bring you down to around 2m.
I recommend using 1300mah 4s 80c batteries with this. Higher voltages may be problematic even though the ESC advertises 4s-6s and aren't ideal. Should you get this drone for the right price point, you won't be disappointed.
