Eric Larsen talks about his record breaking unsupported and unaided North Pole expedition, one of the most difficult adventures on the planet, to a place that few people understand that may be the last of its kind in history.
Polar adventurer, expedition guide, dog musher and educator, Eric Larsen has spent the past 15 years of his life traveling in some of the most remote and wild places left on earth. He speaks around the world to schools, universities, and non profit organizations. Eric is finishing the documentary, COLDER, about the Save the Poles expedition.
About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
