On September 8, 1986 the Nissan Plant in Sunderland opened its doors for production. 25 years down the line we talked to some of its employees to hear about their personal experiences. 2011 was a special year for Nissan in the UK - as well as celebrating a record year for production, staff produced their six millionth car in January, shortly before the first shipment of the 100% electric Nissan LEAF arrived in the UK in February.
