Here goes my SWATCH and REVIEW video for the *NEW* Anastasia Beverly Hills Renaissance Palette. This palette is a permanent addition to the Anastasia Beverly Hills lineup.
While the formula of these eyeshadows is excellent, somehow the shades don't quite work for my skin tone and end up looking ruddy and muddy when applied. I know many people love this palette and by the formula alone I can understand why. But for me it's just a no go.
Another thing is that this palette features mostly matte shades which is very rare in the makeup world these days. Of course we have all matte palettes but this is a mixed palette with mostly mattes. This may be a a deciding factor if you prefer mattes or if you prefer shimmers.
