Ya gotta start somewhere. Mason Ramsey kicked things off at a Walmart in southern Illinois. Earlier this summer, a video of the 11-year-old singing Hank Williams' "Lovesick Blues" in the store aisle went viral, and between his interpretive skills and his off-the-charts cuteness, he's become a recording artist. Ramsey has been singing and yodeling for a while, actually. He's participated in regional talent contests and earned a area-wide buzz, starting his Hank homages at the age of four. The woman who captured his Walmart performance had shot him previously in other locales. Since that now-famous gig, he's been on 'Ellen', performed at the Grand Ole Opry, and even shared the Coachella stage with EDM artist Whethan. Now he's signed to Atlantic records. He came by Vevo to sing a couple of non-Hank tunes, "Famous" and "The Way I See It," and his charisma was right up front with his voice.
