MANIK makes his full Anjunadeep debut with “Far Away / Mulberry”, following remixes for Beckwith and Jody Wisternoff. EPs with Black Butter, Ovum and Moda Black over the past 12 months have accelerated the New Yorker’s rise into house music’s A-list.
Featuring the ethereal vocals of Eli & Fur, “Far Away” combines tough driving percussion with dark, atmospheric low end. Keeping melodic subtlety in such a dancefloor focused track is no easy feat, but MANIK pulls it off in style. A real peak-time weapon in the right hands.
